PhD. Eng. Enrique Acuña Duhart

Professional and academic with more than 10 years of experience in Chilean and Canadian mining, dedicated to the continuous improvement of the design and operation of mine ventilation systems. Among the research topics, the optimization of aspects such as the design of primary and secondary systems, cooling and heating of the air by renewable methods, and the design of ventilation control systems stand out.

PhD. Eng. Felipe Calizaya

Dr. Felipe Calizaya associate professor at the University of Utah. It teaches mine ventilation, mine hydraulics, mine management and finance, simulation of discrete event systems, operations research, and fire safety. In addition, he is the PI for a NIOSH project: reducing noise exposure in underground mines by improving auxiliary ventilation technologies. His mining engineering experience extends to 1972 and includes six years as a chief ventilation engineer at PT Freeport Indonesia, five years as a research associate at the University of Nevada, Reno, and four years as a researcher and professor at the University of California, Berkeley , and the Colorado School of Mines.o.

Mining Engineer, current director of the Professional School of Mining Engineering and Former dean of the Faculty of Geological, Mining and Metallurgical Engineering (FIGMM) of the National University of Engineering (UNI), Master of Science with Mention in Mining Engineering UNI, Candidate for a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the SIEF UNI. Senior Professor at UNI, Advisor and National Exhibitor Cia. Miner Shuntur, Cia. Minera Cerro Lindo and International in Ventilation of Mines USA, SPAIN and Geomechanics in ARGENTINA.

MSc. Eng. Jaime Tumialán

Mining Engineer from the National University of Engineering, obtained the degree of “Master of Science in Mining Engineering” at the University of Missouri-Rolla USA “. He was Project Manager in Cía. RAURA Mining, Mining Operations Manager and Explorations Manager at“ CENTROMIN PERÚ. “ He has worked as Technical Advisor in the General Directorate of Mining – MINEM. He is currently a Principal Professor in the undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Cost and Management of Mining Operations at the School of Mines – UNI.

He has been President of the Mining Engineering Chapter of CD Lima – CIP and President of the 7th National Mining Congress – Trujillo.
